The problem: half-cleaned homes and cleaners who disappear

A home gets dirty every day, but the time to clean it never turns up. You spend the weekend with a mop, or you look for a reliable regular cleaner who one day does not show up and does not tell you. When that happens nobody covers for her and you start again.

Sojiya solves both problems. A cleaner from our team comes to your home as often as you choose and always follows the same protocol. If she is away, we find a replacement subject to availability or agree another day with you. You do not manage contracts, registrations or holidays: our staff are registered with the CASS, and work-risk cover and civil liability insurance are included in the rate.

What a regular visit covers

Every visit follows the same routine, in the same order. In the Japanese 5S method this is seiketsu: standardise, so the result does not depend on the day or on anyone's mood.

• Kitchen: worktops, sink, cupboard fronts, outside of appliances and floor.
• Bathrooms: toilet, basin, shower or bath, taps, mirrors and floor.
• Bedrooms and living room: dusting of surfaces within hand reach, a visibly tidy room, floors vacuumed and mopped.
• Hallways: entrance, corridors, switches and door handles.

At the end, the cleaner walks through the whole home before leaving. This is shitsuke: the discipline of checking what was done, not just doing it.

You set the priorities. In your client area, on your home's profile, you say what comes first and what must not be touched. If time runs short, the cleaner follows that order and the rest is done on the next visit.

What is not included: moving heavy furniture, climbing long ladders or cleaning building-work dust. If your home has not had a proper clean for a while, a deep clean first is a good idea; after that, weekly upkeep takes far less time.

Add-ons: ironing, laundry, beds, windows

Add-ons are added to the hourly rate as a small amount per hour. You pay only for what you ask for, not for a fixed package.

For laundry you need a working washing machine and your own detergent. For ironing you need an iron and a suitable surface. For beds, leave clean sets ready. If something is missing, that task is skipped and the time goes to the rest. Every task is done within the hours you book, so allow enough time if you add several.

Everyday windows are the ones that can be cleaned without height or risk. For large glazing, glazed terraces or hard-to-reach panes, there is a separate window cleaning service.

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly

Sojiya's house cleaning by the hour is a recurring service: the same time slot at a fixed frequency. The more often you book, the lower the hourly price.

• Hours discount: from 3 hours, the price drops €0.10/h for each hour from the third onward (3 h: -€0.10/h; 4 h: -€0.20/h; 5 h: -€0.30/h...), up to a maximum of 8 hours per visit.
• Days discount: on a weekly plan, each additional day per week also takes €0.10/h off.
• Minimum: one hour per visit. We suggest 2 to 4 hours for a full flat.
• Commitment: the regular rate needs at least 4 sessions in 4 different weeks within the agreed period; otherwise all are charged at the one-off rate.

Weekly keeps the home looking the same all the time. Fortnightly suits small flats or one-person households. Monthly works as backup when you already handle the day-to-day. The full detail of the hourly rate and add-ons is on the prices page.

We bill by the hour and by person working. If a regular visit falls on a company holiday, no work is done that day and it is not made up. To cancel free of charge, give 48 working hours' notice from the calendar in your client area.

Keys, pets and supplies

Keys. You do not need to be home. You can leave us a copy with key holding and the cleaner comes in at the agreed time. If she cannot get in because the key or code does not work, the visit is still billed, so check access whenever you change anything.

Pets. Dogs and cats are not a problem. We ask which you have because of possible allergies in the team and, if they are large, the pet add-on applies because of the hair they leave.

Supplies. By default we use your products and your vacuum cleaner. If you prefer us to bring them, they are booked separately: basic cleaning products +€0.49/h, cloths and wipes +€0.49/h and vacuum cleaner +€2.99/h (excl. IGI). If we use your equipment and it is in poor condition, the result suffers.

Choice of cleaner. On a regular plan you can say whether you prefer a woman, a man or have no preference. We always try to send the same person from our registered and insured cleaners.

1. Fill in the quote form: two minutes, no obligation.
2. We reply in writing with the recommended hours, the frequency and the price with your add-ons.
3. You accept the conditions in your client area and leave your tasks, priorities and access details.
4. The first visit starts at the agreed time.
