When you need it: moving in, moving out, new season
A deep clean makes sense when a specific moment calls for it. These are the most common ones for people living in Andorra:
- Before moving in. The flat has been empty, or the previous tenant left it as best they could. You want to start in a clean home before you open the boxes.
- Move-out cleaning before you hand back the keys. You are leaving a rental and want to return it in good condition. The kitchen, the oven and the bathrooms matter most here. This is often called end of tenancy cleaning.
- A new season. After a winter with the heating on for months, dust builds up on radiators, skirting boards and the tops of furniture.
- A holiday home you are opening up. A flat closed for weeks needs more than a quick tidy.
- After a busy period. When the house has fallen behind and you want a fresh start.
If you are coming out of a renovation, builders' dust is a different job: it is covered on the after-builders cleaning page.
What a deep clean in Andorra includes
We work with the Japanese 5S method. In a deep clean you notice it most in two steps: seiri (setting aside what is in the way) and seisō (cleaning every surface thoroughly, including the ones you do not see). First we clear, then we clean, and at the end everything goes back in its place.
Kitchen deep cleaning
- Inside and outside of cupboards, if you leave them empty.
- Cabinet fronts, handles and tiles with built-up grease.
- Oven, microwave and extractor hood, inside too where reachable.
- Sink, taps and worktops, free of limescale and residue.
Bathrooms
- Limescale on shower screens, taps and shower heads.
- Tile grout, toilet, bidet and basin cleaned thoroughly.
- Bathroom cabinets inside, and mirrors.
The rest of the home
- Dust on top of wardrobes, door frames, switches and skirting boards.
- Radiators, and behind anything easy to move aside.
- Floors vacuumed and mopped, including corners and under beds.
- Standard windows from inside, if you add them as an extra.
We do not move heavy items (sofas, appliances, wardrobes) or use long ladders. If furniture has to be moved, tell us beforehand. Extreme dirt, mould or unannounced building debris may need more time.
How many hours to book
You pay per hour and per person: if two cleaners work three hours, that is six hours. The minimum is one hour and the maximum is eight hours per visit. As a guide:
- Studio or one-bedroom flat: 3 to 4 hours.
- Two or three-bedroom flat: 5 to 8 hours, sometimes split between two people.
- Large house or a very full flat: better over two days or with two cleaners.
The real condition of the home changes the estimate a lot. So when you ask for a quote, tell us the size in square metres, how many bathrooms there are and whether the kitchen is very greasy. If time runs short, we follow the order of priorities you set: we start with what matters most to you.
| Item | Price (excl. IGI) |
|---|---|
| One-off cleaning (deep clean; travel, materials and products included) | €38.27/h |
| Regular cleaning (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) | from €16.99/h |
Example: a 4-hour deep clean is 4 h x €38.27 = €153.08 (excl. IGI), with no extras and no hours discount.
All the extras and worked examples are on the one-off rate page, together with the regular rate.
Add-ons: windows, upholstery, ironing
When you request the deep clean you can tick other jobs for the same visit; they fit into the same hours at no surcharge:
- Standard windows (no heights or risk). For large glazing or terraces, see window cleaning.
- Ironing, if you have an iron and a surface to use.
- Changing bed linen, with clean spares ready.
- We take the rubbish out, handy when moving.
Upholstery is separate, because it needs a different machine and more time. If you also want your sofa, chairs or a mattress cleaned, see sofa and upholstery cleaning.
